Beat Anxiety Depression — 5 Tips
We all experience anxiety. It is normal. But when it interferes in your day-to-day activities, don’t hesitate to ask for help.
1.) Write. Write down what makes you feel that way. Writing can actually make you feel better and see more clearly what it is you can’t fully understand yet.
2.) Ask for help. If you think you’re suffering from anxiety or depression, accept and ask for professional help.
3.) Call a friend. Tell it to someone close to you. Someone who really accepts who you are. Someone who is a good listener. Just letting someone know what you’re going through can help you feel better.
4.) Think positively. This could be very difficult to do if you’re experiencing a high level of anxiety and depression but try to push yourself to do it. Think good thoughts and good outcome of what you’re being anxious about. If it’s difficult for you to do that, find ways to get that thought off your mind. Play a game, watch a movie, sing, dance or exercise.
5.) Meditate. This also can be challenging with an anxious mind. But just go for it and in time, you will feel its benefits.
